Feng Shui Ceremony
Participation
And a Deeper View
Festival attendees continued to place objects on the earth mound and build it up as the day went on…
The fire needed to be tended for much of the day during those hours that pertained to Fire…
Feng shui team members placed additional railroad spikes into the mound at appropriate times of the day…
Pinecones made their appearance during the Yang Wood hour. We also called for acorns during this time, but it seems as if the local squirrel population beat out the human on this score. Perhaps next year we can plan ahead and squirrel away some acorns on our own…
Honoring the pine.
Here Heather Martin adorns a ritual tree at the appointed hour…
Some participants used the energy of the ceremony to induce feats of the supernatural such as levitation…
Here's another view of Cindy Pierson placing jewelry in the West.
By the afternoon, our mound held a great diversity of objects and energies.
And attracted such local celebrities as lambchop and his faithful servants...
Some participated by observing…
Others through action…
And spontaneous healings…
And more action…
Then it was time for the Yang Water ceremony. We directly connected the energy of our ceremony with the San Francisco Bay via a very long blue thread…
Spun it through the festival…
And down Tiburon's Main Street…
Toward the waters of the Bay…
Removing the plastic core from our spool of all-natural cotton thread. This move came at Michael Stocker's suggestion and was enthusiastically welcomed by all team members…
Timing the precise moment to complete the energetic circuit…
And establish the connection.
The end of our day brought us to celebrate Tara's big 5th…
Wishes were cast into the fire and empowered by breath…
Followed by feasting…
Followed by Tara entertaining the crowds and burning off some of that sugar with a Hula Hoop demonstration to beat the band…
As our ritual made its final ascent before we disassembled it at the end of the day.
